MonkonMeteor

Riding outward. Travelling inward.

Sitting on a blue Meteor 350 at night: I started riding at 53

I started riding at 53.

Not late. Right on time.

One rider. One Meteor 350. Long roads into the mountains, with no rush to get anywhere.

Monk on Meteor is a travel log for two journeys at once: the outer one, of passes, rivers, wrong turns and roadside chai, and the inner one, of silence, solitude and the quiet lessons that only show up when you stop hurrying.

Some rides are about distance. These are about attention.

Behind the visor

Helmet on, intercom on, mind quiet. Every ride starts the same way: gear up, breathe, and leave the noise behind.

The road has a way of asking the questions we avoid at our desks. Out here there's time to listen to them.

The first chapter: Himachal

Stories from the road on Instagram, full rides on YouTube. Come along.

Two roads. Ride along on both.

The mountains are only half the journey. The other half happens in stillness.
